IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Today I sent a study guide for both History and Science tests next week. They do not need to be completed at home. I just wanted the students to have them in their hands to begin studying. The history test will be on Wednesday over chapters 1-6 and the Science Test will be on Friday over chapters 1-5. Diagrams and map pages are included in the study guides. P

Please remind the students that they can use their textbooks, notebooks, and past quizzes to study as well.

On Monday, we will take an open book quiz over sections 5.4-5.6 in science.

The class has earned a trip to Pizza Hut! Please watch for the permission slip to come home. I have it tentatively scheduled for Friday. I will let you know for sure on Monday. :)

We will be on Spelling list 9 this week. There will not be a trial test due to the remote learning day on Thursday.

The only written homework this week will be spelling list on Monday and completing the study guides if they do not get done in class.

They should continue reading at least 4 chapters per week in NOAH.

T-shirt orders are due Monday.

Please read the following message from our administration:

Dear New Christian Academy Families,

Due to the number of students and staff members that will be attending the WVCEA Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, October 29, our students will be having a REMOTE LEARNING DAY that day.

The students will have a packet of assignments that they will complete for Thursday. This work will be collected and graded.

If you would like to support our varsity and middle school girls’ teams, they will be playing in Beckley at Appalachian Bible College and Victory Baptist Academy in Beaver on Thursday morning. We can provide you with the game information if you contact the school.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We are so excited that our students get this opportunity to compete with other Christian schools and wish them the best!
