                    Spelling- Copy new list twice. 

                    Read Noah Webster Chapter 3 if not completed in school. 

Tuesday

Homework: Language P. 255 L. 35 only

                    Read chapter 4 in Noah Webster. 

                   History Do pages 132-133 Sections 2C and 3A only. 

Wednesday

Language Quiz 7- Identify correct verb usage and subjects in sentences. 

Thursday

Homework: Copy missed spelling words 5 times. Study missed vocab. 

                    Read chapter 5 in Noah Webster. Write 5 sentence summary of the book so far. 

                    Study for Science Quiz 8 over pages 5.4-5.6.

Here is this week's Spelling and Vocabulary List. We are on List 7. 

The words are numbers 1, 4, 6, 9, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, and I am adding the word separate.

Vocabulary

Protein- A nutrient which helps the body grow, repair, and replace cells and helps build muscle tissure. 

Worldview- A set of beliefs taht shape what someone believes to be true. 

Greenhouse effect- The natural process that maintains Earth's proper temperature by trapping heat. 

Sector- Part of a graph that represents a certain fraction or part of a whole. 

Strainer- Instrument used to separate parts of a mixture. 

Theocracy- A government ruled by religious authority. 

Circumference- Greatest distance around the Earth.

Weekend homework:  Finish History Skill sheets, open book Quiz 1, and reading in History pages 23-25.  Remember to fill in Reading logs; they are due Tuesday.    Be sure to have your literature fair book chosen by Wednesday.  Week of Sept. 1-5   **Sept. 5th is picture day.
