A Few Important Reminders

Reading Logs- The students can read any grade level material throughout the week. They should write the title of the book and the number of minutes read each time they read. As long as they get 50 minutes of reading in, it does not matter when they do it, as long as it is out of school hours. Please sign each time they read. They are collected every single Monday. 

Literature Fair- The fair is on Oct. 2nd. Be prepared by Oct. 1st. This is a grade. I will send home the information this week to help you complete it. 

Field Trip- A permission slip is going home today for our trip to see "Light of the World" on Monday. The cost is $8.75 for the ticket OR $13.50 for ticket and popcorn/drink. They can bring money for other snacks. We will be gone from 9-11. All students are required to ride school transportation. The trip is for students and teachers only. 

Math papers from today are being sent home for corrections. Please watch for that to happen occasionally. 

There is no school Wednesday September 24, 25, and 26.

Weekend homework:  Finish History Skill sheets, open book Quiz 1, and reading in History pages 23-25.  Remember to fill in Reading logs; they are due Tuesday.    Be sure to have your literature fair book chosen by Wednesday.  Week of Sept. 1-5   **Sept. 5th is picture day.
