Please finish Literature Fair project. The fair is Oct 2.  Monday Homework- Work on Literature Fair poster. Spelling- From here on out, we will only do a portion of our Spelling list. Monday homework will continue to be to copy the list 2 times each. We will mark the words that they need to copy, study, and take the test over on Mondays.  History- Reread pages 75-79.  Monday homework: 

*Please remember, September 24-26 there is no school.   *There will be no spelling list this week since we only have a 2-day week.  *Science Quiz 4 is on Monday.  *Weekend homework has not changed, but I will put it here for a reminder:  *Math P. 352 L. 23  *History pages 80-81 section 1 only, it is a crossword to be done on paper.  *Study for Science Quiz 4 over 3.1-3.4.  *If the students want to bring extra money for snacks at the movie on Monday, they can.  *The literature fair is Oct. 2nd. The students should be preparing their tri-fold board. 

Reading Logs - The students can read any grade level material throughout the week. They should write the title of the book and the number of minutes read each time they read. As long as they get 50 minutes of reading in, it does not matter when they do it, as long as it is out of school hours. Please sign each time they read. They are collected every single Monday.  Literature Fair - The fair is on Oct. 2nd. Be prepared b y Oct. 1st. This is a grade. I will send home the information this week to help you complete it.  Field Trip - A permission slip is going home today for our trip to see "Light of the World" on Monday. The cost is $8.75 for the ticket OR $13.50 for ticket and popcorn/drink. They can bring money for other snacks. We will be gone from 9-11. All students are required to ride school transportation.
